What if my bestie is a person, not a pet?
- Before I Go sessions get priority in my schedule and I will make myself as available as possible to help. I've even done sessions within a couple hours of being contacted.
My pet is very sick, can you still help?
- In a word, yes. If your pet can't travel, I can come to your home. We go slow and celebrate each frame that we get.
My pet has a tumour that makes me sad to look at, can you still help?
- I get it. It can be difficult to see the physical changes in our pets when they are older and/or have a medical condition that is visible. I will discuss with you ahead of time what you're hoping to capture and focus on that. I don't edit out tumours, but I can do light retouching to minimize some physical changes.
Do I have to join in the photos?
- No, we can just focus on your pet and you can watch from the sidelines. If you aren't joining in because you're camera shy, please let me know though as I do have some poses which can include you with your pet, without the focus being on you.
What do I wear if I'm joining in?
- I usually say whatever is most comfortable. Some people in their homes just wear their comfy cozies, some may want to dress up and really celebrate this time together.
I'm afraid I'll cry in my photos...
- That's ok... and totally normal. I want you to trust that if I do catch you crying it's because you are just so full of pure love for your bestie.
Our vet just told us our pet has only a few days left, can you help?
- Yes. I can come to you, we can meet at my studio or I can even meet you at the veterinarian clinic.
Will you photograph an in-home farewell?
- I would be truly honoured to be a part of an in-home farewell.
What if my bestie is a person, not a pet?
- All of my services can be available to celebrate the life of a beloved human, or a beloved pet.
